Steel bombs, swords recovered

KOZHIKODE: Police on Sunday recovered three steel bombs and half-a-dozen swords from various places under the Nadapuram police limits.

Police said the steel bombs were found buried in a deserted narrow path, sandwiched between two private farms at Iyyangodu. Nadapuram CI Prajeesh Thottathil led the raid.

Meanwhile, seven swords and a couple of other lethal weapons were recovered from the terrace of a house near Nadapuram. Police have registered a case against Abdurahiman Therambathu, a native of Kunnamangalam, and five others who have allegedly dumped the weapons on the terrace of the house owned by a woman
