State Govt must Fund Reinstallation of Pandit Karuppan’s Statue: Karuppan Vicharavedi.
published on June 3, 2014
The Pandit Karuppan Vicharavedi has come down heavily against the act of demolishing the statue of the renowned poet on the day of his 130th birth anniversary, using a JCB. Voicing the forum’s dissent, a remonstration was carried out from the Kundanoor junction to the spot where the statue existed.
“The state government must take responsibility for the deed by bearing all expenses in reinstalling the statue,†said a senior member of the forum.
The march was flagged off by VHP state president KV Madanan.
