Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti celebrations
ALUVA: Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti will be celebrated at Aluva Adwaithasramam and Paravur under the auspices of Adwaithasramam and SNDP Unions on Thursday.
A special pooja and Mahaganapathy homam will mark the beginning of the celebrations at 4 am at Adwaithasramam here. Santhi Jayanthan will perform the rituals.
Asramam secretary Swami Thrirathna Theerthar will hoist the flag at 7.30 am. It will be followed by recitation of Gurudeva keerthanam. Special poojas will be held at noon.
The Jayati procession, which will be flagged off by P C Thomas MP at the entrance of Adwaithasramam at 4 pm, will proceed through pump junction, railway station square, Karothukuzhi hospital junction, private bus stand and Bank junction. It will culminate at Adwaithasramam.
