has been reported that Riyaz managed to get in for treatment after having “severe neck and back pain.”

According to sources, Riyaz had made a couple of visits to the hospital, along with police, to make assessments regarding hospital facilities. Riyaz was accompanied by a gang of other terrorists.

Sources state that Riyaz had issued strict instructions for the cell room to be kept clean, ahead of his getting admitted. The room is said to have been
painted, after Riyaz’ issued his directives.

Riyaz, who is confined to the Hospital cell, has 4 policemen keeping guard on him. However, it has been revealed that Riyaz has a free life in the hospital. He is said to be making frequent visits to the canteen for food, following which he takes rest in the hospital premises. And with Riyaz donning civilian dress and not adhering to the uniform designated to convicts, people and other patients are least suspicious.

Riyaz is the prime accused in the notorious hand chopping case of
Professor Joseph, which took place on 4 July, 2010. The case is currently being investigated by NIA.
