SFI attacks on the rise: ABVP

Kochi: The ABVP State committee has alleged that SFI activists have been spearheading a series of physical attacks on its political opponents since the CPI(M)-led LDF came to power in the State. ABVP State president S Manu told reporters on Wednesday that the recent attacks on the ABVP activists in the Maharaja’s College campus, Ernakulam was a part of this process. The Maharaja’s College campus was closed on Monday following a clash between the activists belonging to the SFI and ABVP. He alleged that the police had registered fake cases against ABVP activists in 70 campuses across the State even though it was the SFI activists who attacked the ABVP workers.
