Senior RSS Pracharak P. Ramachandranji passes away

KOCHI : Senior RSS Pracharak and State committee member of the Sangh P Ramachandran (70) passed away on Wednesday at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences due to age-related ailment. The body is kept at the RSS Pranth Karyalayam (Madhav Niwas), Kochi here for the people to pay last respects and will be cremated at the Thottakad crematorium, Aluva on Thursday morning.

Ramachandran, who was born in 1937, became an RSS Pracharak in 1956 and had put in fifty-one years of service for the Sangh. He was instrumental in organising a base for the RSS in Malabar area. Ramachandran was the Prantheeya Sambarka Pramukh and Prantheeya Bala Pramukh of the organisation. He had also served as State organising secretary of the Kshetra Samrakshana Samithy for several years.
