Senior BJP leader stabbed to death in Kannur

KANNUR:Senior  BJP leader advocate P P Valsaraj kurup (37) was stabbed to death by a group of CPI(M) Workers near Panur.

The victim, was attacked by the CPI-M Activists after he was called out of his house.Kurup was a practicing advocate in Thalassery and a BJP Peringalam assembly constituency committee member. He had contested in the last civic polls as a BJP supported independent candidate from Panur Panchayat.

The BJP and RSS have called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district on Monday.
