Scores of Hindu leaders to attend Omallur Hindu meet

PATHANAMTHITTA: The seventh Omallur Hindu meet will be held at Omalloor Sree Rakthakandaswami temple from April 2 to 6.

The meet will begin with the hoisting of the flag at 9.30 am on April 2. Head of Chalakkudi Gayathri Ashramam Swami Sachidananda will inaugurate the meet at 3.30 pm.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad state vice-president Kaladi Manikandan will deliver the key-note address. Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram working president C I Issac will deliver a discourse at 7.30 pm. The youth meet to be held at 3.30 pm on April 3 will be inaugurated by Balagokulam state president Hareendran.

Hindu Mathapadhasala Meet to be held at 2.30 pm will be inaugurated by Mathapadhasala Adhyapaka Parishad president T G Purushothaman Nair. Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram secretary K Jayaparasad will deliver a discourse at 7.30 pm. Kshetra Samrakshana Samithi vice-president V T Rema will inaugurate the women’s meet to be held at 3.30 pm on April 5. Hindu Aikyavedi state president K P Sasikala Teacher will deliver a discourse at 7.30 pm.

Collector Raju Narayanaswamy will inaugurate the valedictory function to be held at 3 pm on April 6. K K Nair will preside over the function.
