Sarsanghchalak attended Guru Pooja in Thiruvananthapuram

T’PURAM: Pjaneeya Sarsanghchalak Manyaneeya Mohan Bhagwat yesterday attended the `Gurupooja’ festival organised by the Thiruvananthapuram Mahanagar unit of the Sangh.
Uthradam Thirunal Marthanda Varma, head of the Travancore royal family, presided over the function. The Maharaja also presented a copy of a treatise on `Vishnu Sahasranamam’ penned by him to Bhagwat.
This was Bhagwat’s first visit to Kerala after taking over as Sarsangh Chalak of RSS. He was on his way to Kanyakumari to attend RSS meetings in the next two days.
