Swamiji in his eloquent speech advocated every one to study Sanskrit, the epitome of our culture, spirituality, philosophy and unity. Malayalam is the mother tongue (Mathrubasha) of Malayalees, and Sanskrit is the Pitthrubasha. To understand the essence of our life, culture, Vedas, Upanishads and our Darshanas, study of Sanskrit is essential. Sanskrit preserves our Samskaras, protect our religion and preserves our heritage. Westerners study sanskrit  to understand our philosophy and culture. Swamiji requested Malayalees to give more importance to sankrit the mother tongue of all religions. To keep alive our samksaras and our spiritual heritage study of sanskrit is very important, Swaniji said.
