Sabarimala is not a Milchcow
Hindu Aikya Vedi leader Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan urged Government to spread Ayyapa Dharma from the revenue collected from Ayyappa devotees coming to Sabarimala. He was addressing Ayyappa devotees while inaugurating second International Ayappa Satram.
Last year the total revenue of Sabarimala was Rs. 150 Crores, Not even a single penny was spend for pilgrims or Ayappa Dharma.
In this kaliyuga Sarana Mantra is becoming a Global Mantra , Devotees are thronging the temple from all corners of globe , Devaswom Board should come forward to spread Ayyappa Mantra
Kummanamji also urged to declare Thiruvabharana Way (the way which holy ornaments of Ayappa brings from Panthalam to Sabarimala) as Holy path. He was addressing Ayyappa devotees at Pathanamthitta while inaugurating Thiruvabharana Patha Samrakshana Samiti’s Bhakta Jana Sammelan.
Currently Thiruvabharana Way has been intruded by poachers and the Roads are in a pity condition. This road had a width of 8-18 meters but presently in some areas it is only one meter!!
This is really very difficult at the time of Thiruvabharana Ghoshayatra .Government should take an immediate action on this. Government should include this way along with Sabarimala Master Plan, urged Kummanam
