Thiruvananthapuram: Day by day, the condition of Sabarimala pilgrimage is dilapidating due to the irresponsibility and inefficiency of Devaswom Ministry and its Devaswom Board. Governor should immediately intervene and take necessary action to restore proper management in Sabarimala, Demanded Hindu Aikya Vedi General Secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan.

As Kerala Government and Devaswom board proved to be an utter failure, Governor should seek Army’s help in crisis management. Crowd Management specialist of Military services should be called in as day by day the number of Devotees coming for holy pilgrimage is increasing.

It is for the first time such an inefficient management was seen in Sabarimala. Thousands of devotees returned back without Darsan is first time in the History. Water Scarcity and lack of sanitation facilities forces extra burden on the devotees. Devaswom Minister never bothered to visit the Temple and tried to understand the crisis in Sabarimala. The Devaswom president is making irresponsible statements and justifying his faults without any concern for the Devotees problems. Board members should resign and apologize to the devotees owing responsibility for the grave mismanagement.
