Ruling UDF is NOT Representative of Kerala population

via Synonymous published on May 16, 2011

For the first time in the history of Kerala, the ruling front is NOT going to be representative of Kerala’s population. A whopping majority of 47 out of 72 MLAs’ belonging to the ruling front are from the so-called ‘Minorities’. That is 65% of the ruling MLA’s are minority MLAs. And out of that, 40% would be from Muslim community that constitutes only 25% of the Kerala population. Another 25% are Christians that make up only 20% of the population. And that leaves only 35% MLAs’ to represent 55% Hindus in the population. Days are not far when the Devaswom Minister would be someone like Samadaani or Chaandi.

In a way it is good that such a ‘warning’ scenario has come up so soon. This is exactly in line with what happened earlier in Kashmir. When the ruling setup does not represent the demography, the obvious after effect is surrender or migration. In the long run, Hindus will have to learn to fight back or migrate from Kerala to neighboring states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This has already started among the middle class. And all those poor Hindus left behind will ultimately get converted. If we do not learn from Kashmiri Pandits, the same fate awaits us.

Kerala Hindus have no one to blame except their own organizations for this pathetic situation. Modern Jaichands like Sukumaran & Panikar (NSS) have done their bit this time to defeat quite a number of Hindus to prevent Achutanandan from becoming CM (and help Oommen Chandy, Maani and Kunhalikutty). The likes of Chenichery Kurup (brilliantly potrayed by Jagathy in Urumi) are aplenty in present day Kerala and our condition cannot be expected to be any better. Perhaps social justice will usher in when Hindus in Kerala will get reduced to about 25% by our religious adherence to family planning and migration.
