RSS State leader arrested, hartal in Kannur
KANNUR : RSS Vibag Prachar Pramukh Valsan Thilenkeri was arrested today on basis of false charges filed by the State Police. He was arrested in connection with the murder of a CPM activist K.K.Yakoob of Punnadu in Kannur. RSS called for dawn to dusk hartal in Kannur district tomorrow in protest against the arrest of Valsan Thilenkeri, state leader of RSS. The Police arrested Thilenkeri due to pressure from LDF activists in Kannur. Valsan Thilenkeri was the next target of NDF and Communists and there was many attempt in the past to attack him. While the state Police is targeting dedicated social workers on basis of false charges and political pressure, they failed to arrest a single person in connection with the murder of RSS leaders Manikandan, Ashwini Kumar, Sunil Kumar and various attacks on activists of Hindu organisations in the state
