TDB urged to review ‘aravana’ manufacturing contract

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Hindu Aikyavedi has urged the Travancore Devaswom Board to review the decision of awarding the aravana prasadam manufacturing contract to A S Shanavas, the managing director of Elite India Exporters, who was shortlisted in an allegedly improper manner.
Addressing newsmen here on Friday, Aikyavedi state secretary K Haridas and district secretary P R Shaji said the board shortlisted the contractor, whose quotation was not the lowest among the 11 bidders for the deal, with ulterior motives.
