‘Retrieve illegal land owned by Wahab: BJP

KOZHIKODE
: The BJP in Kerala would
launch an agitation if the LDF Government failed to
seize the land “illegally” owned by Muslim
League leader and Rajya Sabha MP P V Abdul Wahab here,
a senior party leader said here yesterday.

“Government should immediately initiate steps
to retrieve the land illegally owned by Wahab. If not,
our party will go on an agitation”, BJP leader
O Rajagopal said while addressing party workers in front
of Indus Motors, where the MP is accused of possessing
land.

Noting that the successive governments in the state
had turned a blind eye to such a “serious”
issue, the former Union Minister said the present LDF
rule was pretending as if it was not aware of the matter
despite it being widely reported in the press.

The district unit of the BJP would take out a protest
march to Indus Motors on July 1 in this regard, he added.

BJP state Vice-President V Muraleedharan and Yuva Morcha
state President K Surendran were also present.
