‘Retain Sanskrit syllabus’

KASARGOD: The state conference of the Kerala Departmental Sanskrit Teachers Federation, KDSTF, has urged the government to retain the syllabus for Sanskrit teaching in the proposed curriculum change.

The KDSTF also demanded promotion to language teachers, extension of service benefits to part-time Sanskrit teachers, and continuation of Sanskrit as second language in higher secondary classes.

K.Pradeepkumar (Kasargod) and Surendran Kadakkode (Kollam) were elected secretary and president of the association.
