Reception Committee for Krishnayanam-2010 has formed

KOCHI : The reception committee for the prestigious “Krishnayanam-2010” (International Children’s Congregation) on 3rd and 4th April 2010 was formed on 30.12.2009 at Elite International,Thrissur by garlanding the Sreekrishna idol by His Holiness Poojya Swami Poornamrithanantha Puri ,the General Secretary of Amrithaanathamayi Math. His Holiness Swami Devatmananda Saraswati, (Omkarananda Asram) Sri Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA (former speaker of Kerala Assembly), Sri M.A.Krishnan founder chairman of Balagokulam, Sri N. Hareendran Master ,President of Balagokulan, Sri. C. Sreedharan Master(Patron) also spoke on this occasion. A reception Committee of 501 members was formed in which personalities from all walls of life in the state are included. The Patrons of the committee includeswami Chidanandapuri, Swami Vivikthananda, Mathaji Medhaprana, Mathruswami, Justice K.T.Thomas, Justice K.P.Radhakrishnamenon, Sri K.M.Mathew, Sri P.V.Chandran, Sri. P.E.B.Menon, Sri A.R.Mohanan etc.

Dr. Ramanandhan, Managing Director of Anglo American Chamber,is nominated as the Chairman and Adv. Saji Narayanan, All India vice –President of Bharatheeya Masdoor Sangh is nominated as the General Convener of the committee.Chairpersons, conveners and members were nominated to handle various departments contribute for the success of the spectacular function.

The Reception Committee decided to ensure participation of 25,000 children from Balagokulam units in the state from outside Kerala including young and elderly persons conduct Balagokulam units. A broad on this program was chalked out wherein, Mass drill, enchanting chorus, recitation of Bhagawat Gita, spectacular procession will form part of the same.
