published on June 7, 2008

KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has
called upon State Womens Commission chairperson Rtd Justice Sreedevi to
put in her papers from the post of chairperson following her
intervention in the age of nuns in the Roman Catholic belief.

The
Congress leader said that Justice Sreedevi has no right to interfere in
the religious beliefs of a community or person and should immediately
resign from the post following her remarks on raising the age of
joining sisterhood to eighteen years of age.

HK Comments,

The concern of Ramesh Chenithala, who is now
heading the Catholic Congress in Kerala is quite genuine but there are
still few Hindus in the state who supports this party who fails to
understand the absence of such CONCERNS when Hinduism is ridiculed and
targeted.

Few Questions to Chennithala, in behalf of Hindus who supports his party in the state

1) We haven’t saw any such anger from
Ramesh, when Central Government submitted filed affidavit denying the
existence of Lord Ram in Supreme Court

2) Why the reasoning of “no right to
interfere in the religious beliefs of a community” not applicable for
you on the arrogant stand of Congress to destroy Ram Sethu which is
revered by Millions of Hindus

3) Congress leaders flocked to AKG Bhavan in
New Delhi when few glass panes were broken as a small response against
Kannur Violence to offer their condolences- We haven’t saw any Congress
Leader opposing the attacks on Ashrams and Swami’s by DYFI goons

4) As the main opposition party
in Kerala Assembly, what was the stand of Congress when Communist
Government passed the infamous Devaswom Ordinance? We haven’t heard any
such concerns as you aired now- Isn’t the interference of a Government
only in Hindu Temples discriminatory?
