Rakshabandhan Celebrations- A Threat to Pseudo Secular Ethos of Manorama!

Thiruvananthapuram: In the eyes of Kerala Media , Conducting Rakshabandhan celebrations is a big crime, especially if it is done by those in Prison.

 

Mainstream media including Christian Manorama reports- “Violating all prison Norms Prison authorities gave permission for Rakshabandhan celebrations inside Thiruvananthapuram Central prison.”  As per the Media version Top RSS leaders also participated in the Rakshabandhan celebrations on Sunday ! The brain behind this scoop, is not even aware that on Sundays vistors are prohibited in Thiruvanathapuram central prison!

 

Rakshabandhan festival is celebrated even in the Rashtapathi Bhavan and Prime Ministers office but for the Journbalists who lack Nationalistic vision see red if Rakshabandhan is celebrated inside the prison.

 

In Our Prisons from Missionary Pastor to Communist Ministers are daily visitors for their own dubious motives but  when 90% of prisoners in a Prison take part in Rakshabandhan celebrations – It’s time for Manorama and their like to cry foul!
