Railway Apathy to Hindus

via GSK menon published on October 3, 2011

Paper reports are appearing about how pilgrims from Kerala proceeding to Kollur Mookambika Temple in Karnataka,  during Navratri time are facing difficulties because the Railways are not stopping at Mookambika Road.

Hindu organisations should write in advance to the Railways to have stoppage during festival days for all trains on the Konkan rail route. We should also bring pressure from Karnataka MP’s and MLA’s just to show our uncaring Kerala MP’s that we can do without them. If nothing works start a blockade just like other communities do.

Keep filing PIL’s and petition the Human Rights Commission, bring pressure from all forums. This is how Christian organisations function. We Hindus need to learn a lot of positive things from the Christians instead of copying beef eating, cutting cakes and blowing out candles.
