Rahul Easwar again arrested while conducting Pooja

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The grandson of former Thantri of Sabarimala temple was again arrested here today for attempting to conduct a Pooja in front of the state secretariat.


 


Rahul Iswar, grandson of former Thantri Kandaru Maheswaru, and two of his associates were arrested when they were going to conduct the Pooja as part of their protest against Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran’s recent remarks against Tantris in the context of the purification ceremony at Guruvayur Sri Krishna temple.


 


The Pooja was planned for good sense prevails in the minister’s mind.


 


Iswar had been taken into custody as per the order of G. Sudhakaran yesterday but released on bail later.
