Protest Against Bomb Assail on Temple to Intensify: Kummanam Rajashekharan

published on April 22, 2012

“Even though time has lapsed over the country bomb attack on Lord Ganesh Temple, Vandithavalam, the culprits remain scotch free. This shows sheer negligence on the part of state government officials,” said State General Secretary of Hindu Aikya Vedi, Kummanam Rajashekharan.

This is the first tine that an episode of throwing bombs has taken place.  However, the state government and police have spared no effort in trivializing the incident. Had the same taken place in a place of worship of other religious groups, ministers and other political leaders would have swarmed the place, demanding immediate and prompt investigation. “But the government has a step motherly attitude even if a Hindu is trampled, with non one to respond or react. But let everyone bear in mind that the negligence and gross injustice towards Hindus is not meant to be continued,” he said, reiterating that if the culprits were not brought to book, at the earliest possible date, the Hindu Aikya Vedi will spearhead a protest meet.

The temple was visited by Kummanom Rajahsekharan, as he reached the place in the evening. Others who accompanied him were RSS Taluk Sanghchalak VR Wilson, Taluk KAryavahak K Rajendra Prasad, BMS Mekhala President R Sateeshan, Mandalam Seva Pramukh Ravi.  The temple was venue of a proets meet as well.
