With every nabbed terror monger, the link between Kerala’s Popular Front and international terror agencies are unfolding at a more rapid pace. The latest is the confirming of nexus between Thejus journo (a PFI mouthpiece) and the dreaded ISIS. Intelligence agencies have revealed that state leaders of PFI and SDPI are the ones who have set up the link between the duo.

The link with ISIS was revealed at a time when the case seeking to prove the link between PFI, the modified version of the outlawed SIMI and international terror outfits IM, Al Qaeda, LeT etc was sabotaged. Things came to light when Intelligence Bureau confirmed that three Malayali youths had joined ISIS, where Abu Tahir of Palakkad is one of the prime connections. The Thejus journo who turned ISIS’ Qatar envoy is said to have joined the terror group’s cadre after a lure of many freebies, the same way most youths are seduced into the terror network.

Apart from terror links, PFI is also said to be the recruiting agency of Pakistan based terror groups. This can be confirmed from instances like death of Kannur based Malayali youths who were identified as the slain terrorists in the 2008 October Kupwara terror strike. Intelligence agencies had confirmed ho the youths were taken to Pakistan, given training in warfare and made to wage war against India. This is where it was confirmed that LeT recruit for South India Thadiyantevide Naseer had associated himself with PFI. With PFI’s role in terror organizations and recruits becoming clear, it is evident that the outfit’s mouthpiece Thejus too has a solid role in hiring people. Apart from these, the blasts in places like Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad have confirmed the growing presence of PFI and their spreading tentacles.

In Kerala, the secret arms training camps at Narath and the arm chopping case of Prof Joseph revealed the Taliban styled terror organization’s real face. In raids conducted in Aluva, Muvattupuzha etc in 2010, CDs depicting the modus operandi of murders and assassinations by international terror groups were seized.

It was in 2012 that an affidavit filed in SC confirmed the truth that PFI is nothing but SIMI reborn and that their sole aim was to shatter India’s internal peace and jeopardize her security. Former national chairman of SIMI Abdul Rehman, state secretary Abdul Hamid etc are the same persons who are now spearheading PFI. According to the state government’s report submitted to HC, 27 Swayamsevaks and BJP activists have been slain brutally by PFI. The murders were all done with the sole aim of inciting communal violence and create disharmony in the state.
