Police-DYFI Gundaism in capital : Number of Hindu activists injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : At least ten Hindu activists including BJP district president C Sivankutty have been seriously injured in an attack by Kerala Police and DYFI criminals in the state capital today. 

 

Accordingly to eye witness DYFI criminals took out a march towards the secretariat where the Yuva Morcha activists were staging a dharna demanding the withdrawal of class seven textbooks and cancellation of appointments to the post of university assistants.

 

The clash occurred when the DYFI thugs with the support of state Police pelted stones at the Yuva Morcha activists. Police restored to lathicharge and used tear gas shells to against Hindu activists who were peacefully staging the dharna. 

 

Protest marches are continuing in state capital and BJP senior leaders rushed the spot. Meanwhile, city Police commissioner assured the BJP leaders action would be taken within 24 hours.

 

BJP state unit called for a district hartal here tomorrow against the brutality on Hindu activists.
