Police attack on ABVP students at Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram:In the yesterdays brutal attack by police on Students and ABVP activists of MG college many were injured and hospitalized.The attack was on a group of ABVP students who were peacefully returning after a procession at Kesavadasapuram.Near college entrance the police and LDF activists combinely attacked the students and the police raj was extended for next few hours inside and outside the campus.


The grenades and teargas was used by the police and the burst of one police grenade among themselves while using it is now publicized as “country bombs thrown at police by students” .In connection with the same incident RSS leader Madhu was called by Police itself while he was in RSS karyalay inorder to pacify the situation and he was taken to police station and brutally attacked inside lock up.He was later admitted in Medical college hospital with major injuries.


The ABVP had called for state wide protest against this brutal attack on Students and Staffs by the police.
