Police atrocities in booksstall, sacred books desecrated

Karunagapally: The police who are mere puppets in the hands of the CPM govt, attacked book stall of  book stall ran by the Hindu aikya vedi and Kurukshetra prakasan at the Ochira Parabhramam temple while the festival was in progress on Monday.

The atrocity was done by the Karunagapally C.I. Rajagopal and his crew . They threw sacred Hindu religious books on the road and lathi-charged Hindu activists. Not even those who came there to buy books were spared.

There was some mild verbal altercation between some people in front of the bookshop. The police, who could not find those involved, gave vent to their anger on those who were present in the book stall. Those injured in this Police madness were hospitalised.
