Pinarai questions the Ayappa devotion of Achuthanandan’s son
Kochi:Pinarai Vijayan,in a deliberate attempt to kick off a new Controversy against his political opponent in his same party, Chief Minister Achuthanandan, asked why the media was silent when Achuthanandan’s son Arun went to Sabarimala and why the attack only against Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s pooja in Kadampuzha.
Achuthanandan’s son Arun a ardent devotee of Ayappan never misused any of his father’s power when he conducted the pilgrimage and had the darsan of Ayappan as any other devotee with out misusing the powers, But what happened in Kodiyeri’s case was that he was misusing his powers and conducted the pooja under VVIP quota.
That itself is the main reason why no controversy over Arun’s Sabarimala visit while comparing to VVIP Kodiyeri’s Kadampuzha pooja. It is the birth right of a practicing Hindu like Arun to conduct yearly pilgrimage to Sabarimala and him being the son of a Marxist leader won’t prevents him from that.
