‘Pentacost’s coming for conversion should be manhandled’-Vellapalli

Koothatukulam: The SNDP yogam General secretary Shri. Vellapally Natesan said
that those who attempt or indulge in conversion activities should be man-handled on the spot and taught a lesson which they will remember their whole lives. He was speaking at Oliyapurath near Koothatukulam while inaugrating the distribution of the micro finance loan facility.Widespread Pentacostal conversions where reported from Koothatukulam and near by area recently.


 


The Pentecost missionaries are exploiting the state of poverty of the poor hindus by visiting their houses and luring them with money to convert them. Most of the conversions take place with the offer of money. The Pentacosts are shame to those nationalistic Christians as well, he added. A Jacobite Christian had recently commited suicide in the area due to the harassment by Pentacosts in the area.


 


The Hindus are united only spiritually. But materialistically they are opposed and do not help each other financially when in need. They should come together in material life also. The Hindus are being utilised by the Marxist party to do their dirty job like goondaism, dharnas and gheraos.



Hindus who constitute 54% of the Kerala population are mostly from the lower
middle-class. He also said that he has no differences with the NSS and that their ideology and attitude were good vis-a-vis the hindu society. He asked the SNDP workers to re-charge themselves and work hard so that with-in 5 years the poverty of the Ezhavas can be wiped out.



In Koothatukulam during the second phase of the micro finance loan disbursement, 50 lakh rupees were distrubuted to women Self help groups. The union president Shri P.G.Gopinath presided over the function The important speaker was Shri .B.Srikumar. The Dhanalakshmi bank DGM Shri P.G.Jayakumar, Shri C.P.Sathyan etc spoke on the occasion.
