Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pastors are actively contributing their share for the combined growth of Global Crime Index involving Christian priests. Though the Pastors are specialized in sexual crimes and abuses , those ventures into Frauds, Kidnaps and even Murder are not rare.

Pastor Mathai is one of such Christian Pastor who is specialized in Financial Fraud. His victims where his laity. He collected 11,20,000 Rupees from 12 persons with a promise of arranging them Dubai visa and tickets. He duped them by providing fake Visa and fake tickets. Since them he was absconding. As Police intensified the probe he finally surrendered yesterday in front of Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First class Magistrate. Police remanded him later.
