NEYYATTINKARA : Violating all rules and regulations, visa norms, a foreign Pastor Rev. Paul Epton reached here to deliver lectures on “BLESS-2006” organized by ‘Torch Of Truth”. The program aims to encourage conversion activities in this area will be held at Kanjiramkulam P.K.S.H.S  Stadium from today onwards to till 29th of this month.

As per  reliable sources Pastor Paul Epton came to Thiruvananthapuram on a tourist visa and was staying in a hotel at Kovalam beach for the last few days.

Last year another Pastor David Derin came to Thiruvananthapuram on tourist visa and tried to attend a Christian convention program with the permission of state Police. Due to protest from Hindu organizations the Police cancelled the permission of the function and asked David Derin to leave India immediately.

On 14 January 2003, the day of Makar Sankranti, pastor Joseph Cooper from U.S., Benson Sam and pastor Jayakumar held a Gospel convention at Koppan Harijan colony in Kilimanur Taluk Thiruvananthapuram district. This convention had been going on for the past ten days and all these days they had been deriding Hindu Gods, customs and traditions. The Hindu activists in this area met the evangelist team and requested them to desist from deriding Hindu gods. Unmindful, they continued with their tirade. Forced against the wall, the hundreds of Hindus residing the area naturally reacted—they attacked the pastors.

Forced with pressure from ‘secular’ brigade from Congress, leftists, human rights, media and Christian groups, the police arrested RSS functionaries of Kilimanur, Raju, Deepu, Kumar and Shaji and charged them with attack on evangelists.

Kerala media engaged in 24 hours news with live coverage is closed their eye on this anti national activities taking place in the heart of Kerala. Kerala media always skipped to report such type of true stories since it may affect their secular image.
