Passport for a Terrorist, New precedent started

Kochi: Starting a bad precedent, High Court directed Passport Office to process the Passport application filed by Terrorist Abdul Nasser Madani.


 


23 grave criminal cases are still pending for this Terrorist, Still the directive of High Court order to circumvent the law for a deadly terrorist came as surprising.


 


The Court issued directives based on State Government’s clarification that they have no objection for issuing Passport to Madni.


 


At a time youths are being tortured by police officials by denying police verification for passport, citing some petty cases or some false cases filed against them during college days due to political rivalry a terrorist like Madni is being issued a passport with Government’s support.


 


This urgent Passport processing is to enable him to make a discourse in the Holy Quran Award event organised by the Government of Dubai from September 28, 2007.
