Parameswarji to receive IVPT award
The Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust is presenting an award to Shri. P. Parameswaran (“Parameswarjiâ€) for a lifetime of service dedicated to society, at the 59th Jayanthi Celebrations of His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Isa on November 11.
The Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust created the award, the Arsha Samskara Paramashreshta Puraskar, to honour those great souls who have devoted their lives to selfless service in the spirit of the ancient order of rishis and to uphold the timeless values of vedic culture.
“No one is more deserving of this award than Parameswarji, and we are delighted to be able to honour his service in this way,†said the Secretary of the Trust.
“Parameswarji is a great example of an intellectual giant and a selfless servant who dedicated his life for the betterment of society, sacrificing many things along the way.â€
Parameswarji is a renowned thinker and social philosopher and the Director of the Bharatiya Vichara Kendra and President of the Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.
The award is being given for the first time this year, during the Jayanthi celebrations of His Holiness Swami Isa, who is the founder of the Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust. Shri. G. Karthikeyan, Hon. Speaker, KLA, will inaugurate the function.
