Over seven lakh devotees offered Pongala at Attukal

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar13: An estimated over 7 lakh devotees offered pongala to the Attukal Devi today in Thiruvananthapuram.
Right from last midnight thousands of women from various parts of the state converged in the state capital and started setting up temporary ‘choolas’ for preparing the ‘pongala’.
The queue of devotees covered a distance of about 8KMs on the main roads leading to the Attukal temple.
