Orphanages are a façade to cover up terrorist activities and making of child pornographic material: V Muraleedharan

published on June 4, 2014
According to a report, there is supposed to be a mammoth mafia that is functioning behind orphanages running in the state, where children are being forced into terror activities and production of child pornographic material.

“There are ongoing efforts in sabotaging the case, with pressure being stepped up on the matter by IUML. If the state government sabotages the case, after bowing to IUML, we will press the Centre for an inquiry,” said state BJP President V Muraleedharan, referring to the case of children being brought into Kerala from Jharkhand.

“There is a lot of pressure being mounted up on the state government by clinging on to the garb of religion. This is being done as more evidences point to human trafficking. The IUML should be prepared to clarify its stand on the various illegal activities that are taking place under the guise of religious activities,” he added.

“The government is long aware of these nefarious activities going on under the façade of orphanages. The government even has quite a number of documents related to the same. In fact investigating agencies have given reports of children thus brought, being used for terrorist activities and immoral trafficking, after having converted them religiously,” he alleged, adding that Islamic organizations along with Muslim League had adopted an approach of conforming to child trafficking.
