Open Spewing of Venomous Hatred: Police Takes Action against Mujahid Group in Kerala

Kozhikode : A fundamentalist group named Nadwathool Mujahideen has been rampantly indulging in hate speech and inciting communal violence by organizing various public programmes and personal interaction by visiting homes. In a recent development, police intervened and brought to a halt, a public programme organized by them, which openly promoted hatreed and communal violence.

According to sources, the programme as organized in Kodinattmukku, Olavanna, under the banner of ‘Mujahid Sneha Sangamam’. It has also been revealed that organizers conducted numerous house visits, before commencement of the event and distributed various pamphlets, CDs and booklets, denigrating Hindu divine heads, sages and seers. A complaint was registered with police under the aegis of Dharma Raksha Vedi. Following this, the police swung into action.

“These pamphlets and booklets openly ridicule Lord Krishna, Mata Amritanandamayi, Satya Sai Baba. Even though the meet is named ‘Sneha Sangamam’, organizers and orators spew nothing but utter hatred and venom against Hinduism,” said eye witnesses.

Many such programmes have been conducted by the same group, in various parts of the district. However, even when brought to the notice of police and district authorities, they were reluctant to take action. Hindu Aikya Vedi has also sought action against Mujahid groups for spewing hatred.
