Oommen Chandy’s Rule is Christian; Marxists are Treading Madani’s Path: SNDP

Cherthallai: The SNDP has lashed out at the ruling government stating that Oommen Chandy’s rule was “Christian” and that the “CPM was behind Madani”. Stating that fear of the organization is what has led to the current witch hunt being indulged in, against SNDP, said Yogam – Vellappally Natesan.

“The Marxists have been proclaiming that SNDP does not have the right to quote caste. But aren’t they behind Madani, Muslim League and INL? The Marxist have now joined hands with those who sold the SNDP to Congress. The current witch hunt being indulged against SNDP is because the organization has become frightening for many,” said Natesan.

Alleging that Oommen Chandy’s rule had turned into Christian rule, Natesan said that it was the priestly class who were formulating liquor policy. “Marxists on the other hand, were trying to take an upper hand by deriding Hindu religious beliefs and traditions. But now they have begun resorting to celebration of Hindu festivals like Sree Krishna Jayanthi and Raksha Bandhan, only to ensure that they are able to cling on politically,” he said while addressing the press, after the commemoration of inauguration of SN Trust.
