NGO Sangh conference opened
KASARGOD: The Kerala NGO Sangh has decided to strongly react against the negative stand of the LDF towards the problems of the government employees.
The sangh state president M S Shyam Kumar, who inaugurated its state conference here on Friday, said the sangh would not participate in the proposed strike by a section of government employees on December 12.
He said the general strike declared by the Left against the policies of the Union Government was unwarranted. He said it was ridiculous that the Left parties which supported the UPA Government at the Centre were agitating against the policies of the government which are being implemented with their support.
A vehicle rally was organised in the town in the morning as part of the state conference. The rally was led by NGO Sangh district president K Dayananda, district secretary M Bhaskaran, M Harish, Karichery Balakrishnan, K Suresh and Govinda Naik.
