Narendra Modi visits Kerala tomorrow.

The  public  meeting organised by the Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha (KPMS) to mark the centenary of ‘Kayal Sammelanam’ will be held here on Sunday.

Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will inaugurate the meet.

The Kerala Pulayar Mahila Federation of KPMS on Friday organised a symbolic conference in a canoe here.

State president of the federation Rajeshwari Sugathan inaugurated the conference.On Saturday, SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan will deliver the keynote address.

BJP state president V Muraleedharan, Pandit Karuppan Foundation president Gopinath Panangad, SC/ST joint council president Vennikkulam Madhavan, BJP state vice-president P M Velayudhan,  KPMS president M K Damodaran, KPMS  treasurer Thuravoor Suresh, Pulayar Maha Sabha general secretary P P Vava, treasurer K A Mohanan and organising committee chairman K K Gopalan  will attend the meet.At a press conference held in Kochi on Friday, KPMS leaders said the row over inviting Narendra Modi to the conference was created by rebels in the organisation. “We believe that making him aware of our concerns would definitely benefit Dalit communities, particularly the KPMS,” KPMS treasurer Suresh Thuravoor said.

Modi will be rounding off his visit with a ‘mega rally’ at the Sankhumugham beach in the state capital in the evening.Party sources said Modi will be addressing lakhs of party workers from southern part of kerala during this event.
