Narendra Modi inaugurated Hindu Maha Mela at Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Hindu Maha Mela’ in Thiruvananthapuram a short while ago.


 


Lakhs of Hindus thronged in Puthirikandam Maidan to witness the historical event which was presided over by UthradamThirunal Marthandavarma and was blessed with the presence of Hindu spiritual leaders and Senior Swayamsevaks.


 


Narendra Modi showered praise on the rich cultural heritage of the state and warned that the growth of organized religion as the prime reason for the growth of terrorism in the country. He called for complete Hindu unity to check the growth of terrorism.
