Nanma Books of Kozhikode Linked to Al Qaeda?

Kochi: According to agency reports, ‘Nanma Books’ centered in Kozhikode is said to have links with the dreaded terror group Al Qaeda. The link has been confirmed in an investigation related to a book publication by banned outlawed group SIMI.

According to reports, the book ‘Dawatum Jihadum’, published by Nanma Books is the Malayalam translation of the Urdu work ‘Jahilliath Ke Khilaf Jung’. The original version has been written by Abdul Ali Islahi, who is said to be closely associated with Al Qaeda. It has been confirmed that he, along with his son Mohsin Billa are among the prime recruiters for Al Qaeda from India. Security agencies have arrested two youths who were recruited by Mohsin to execute Jihadi activities. The youths Shohaib Ahmed and Shah Muddazzar were arrested from Secunderabad in Telangana.

Investigating agencies have found out that Nanma Books is closely associated with Mohsin Billa. The translator to Malayalam Usman, is also under close scrutiny.
