The state unit of BJP has alleged that there is slackness on the part of police in furthering the probe into the mysterious death of the three school girls hailing from Konni, which could be because of their religion.

Asserting that more probe should be initiated into the role of the SFI leaders who were briefly interrogated in connection with the same. Exposing the Marxist stand of nurturing evil forces for petty political gains, BJP state secretary B Radhakrishna Menon said that there are goons who conveniently don Marxist mask during daytime and further their Jihadist activities under cover of the same.

Charging that the misguiding statement of IG Manoj Abraham was part of the slackness, Menon said, “People have a right to know the truth. But police, who should be catering to safeguarding the rights and security of common man are now standing guard to secure the interests of goondas and mafia lords. It shows the pitiable plight of Kerala police.”

“Police are keen on protecting criminals and culprits hailing from a particular background. How is it the Marxists who were so vehemently calling for police action have now abdicated the stand? It is obvious that it is for shielding those SFI DYFI leaders whose link with the crime will stand exposed,” said Menon, while inaugurating a BJP protest rally to the police station.
