Muthoot apologises and withdraws Talibanic cIrcular
Thiruvananthapuram: As Hindu organisations stepped up the protest against the Talibanic circular targeting Hindu employees, Muthoot Fin Corporation withdrawn the original circular and reissued the same regarding their dresscode omitting the controversial portions.
Following compromise talks with Hindu Aikya Vedi leaders , Muthoot told that the circular was not intended to hurt the sentiments of any religous group and apologised if it hurt any.
Hindu Aikya Vedi had earlier conducted protest marches to Muthoot offices owned by Muthoot Pappachan firm which is a leading money lending group in Kerala. Their dresscode circular which warns of strict actions against it’s employees who put Bindhi or Sindhoor in forehead had earlier invited wrath of Hindu organisations and Dr Subrahmanya Swamy’s warning to Muthoot group of legal action had made this fanatic group to withdraw the circular to save their face.
HAV leaders E S Biju, Brahmachari Bhargava Ram, K N Venkateswaran, Devi Das, Thirumala Anilkumar and Sandeep Thampanoor represented HAV in the talk. Thomas John Muthoot MD of the group and their legal advisors were present.Â
