Muslim orphanages scrambling to clear the place off inmates.
With the case of human trafficking snowballing into mammoth proportions, other Muslim run orphanages are now scrambling to clear their institions free of any such inmates from other states. According to reports, almost 120 choldren have been sent back to their home states from Malappuram, Trissur etc.
Railway stations saw groups of children below the age of 18, which incited the curiosity of everyone. This led to the questioning of these children by police. “These children were from North Indian states, especially Bihar, Bengal,†said sources.
“As many as 30 children were sent to Chennai from Malappuram on Sunday. Around 60 children were bound for Guwahati by train,†cited RPF personnel. “Some of them had identity cards from Madrassas and Arabic colleges,†they added.
Recently, following the case of human trafficking, a large group of children were found stranded in Hanfi Sunnath JamaAth Masjid of Chettiyangadi.
