Mumbai:

The toll in the serial bomb blasts that rocked the commercial capital of India rose to 200 today.

According to unofficial reports, more than 200 persons were killed and among them, 5 persons were Malayalees.

Vinod from Mahe, Vellinezhi Thekkekkara Mohandas ( Palakkad district), Ashokan (Uppala, Kasaragod), Pancharathu Raman Kutty(Thrissur) and S Krishnan(Kozhikode) were the five Malayalees among the victims, police said.

However, life is back to normal for the people of Mumbai as train services are running normally, except on the Western line, where the services are more than 20 minutes late.

After a night of terror, people here are sending out a clear message that Indians will not be cowed down by terror as schools, colleges and offices run as usual.

Though the LeT has denied any hand in the incident that rocked Mumbai yesterday, Police suspect the Pak based Lashkar-e-Toiba and banned Students Islamic Movement of India to be behind the serial blasts in suburban trains.

According to police, high grade explosive material( probably RDX) was used in the blasts.

And the Mumbai Police are started a probe to find out possible links between the seizures of radio-enabled detonators in Mumbai 4 months ago and a huge consignment of RDX in the Aurangabad district in May.
