Mukundan’s study class on ‘culture’ to Artist Devan

Kochi: Now it’s time to pay back for M.Mukundan, for all the favours showered on him by the Communist party.

Kerala Sahithya Academy president Mukundan expressed his concerns on the crucification of a leader of the stature of Pinarai Vijayan by a group of media. As per his opinion Pinarai Vijayan is an ideal leader but the Media is highlighting only the achievements of Achuthanandan and purposefully sidelining Pinarai Vijayan.

Such comments from so called cultural leader on petty groupism of a political party itself shows the extend of ‘Politicization’ happening in the cultural arena.

Mukundan is also very much bothered about the quality of language used by Artist Devan against the Communist leaders. He says such comments are shame to cultural Kerala.

Where was Mukundan’s cultural pride when his favourite master Sudhagaran was running around and heaping third rate filthy abuses against each and every one who came in his way?

The basic thing each and every communist fellow traveller should keep in mind is that ‘Respect’ is a two way system. Don’t expect any Respect back if one even don’t have self respect.

What Artist Devan dared to say about Communist leaders is nothing but plain truth, Barkings Sudhagaran or preaching’s of Mukundan are not capable to deter the bold voices of luminaries like Devan
