Mother of Hindu activists die following Police torture

Munnar: Mother of Hindu activists Shakthivel, Balamurugan and Ravi Chandran Thankamma died here following Police attack.

Police who came to question Thankamma’s sons in connection with the murder of a CPM activist Rafeeq assaulted her in their home. She was immediately taken to a private Hospital in Kovilkadavu.

The three brothers were later released as Police sensed further trouble if they imply false charges on them.

Rafeeq was missing after clashes between BMS and CITU activists in Munnar. Police are hunting Hindu activists in the area based on the report submitted by CPM. Houses of Hindu activists were destroyed by CPM-Jihadi nexus in Kovilkadavu.

Police who took many Hindu activists into custody are using third degree torture including forcing to drink urine, demanding to owe responsibility of the Murder.

Earlier BJP president P.K.Krishnadas who came to visit the destroyed house of Hindu activists were denied entry to Munnar by Police.
