KOCHI: More evidence on the terror links of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madhani and his wife Sufiya Madhani is coming out.

The mobile phone call details of Sufiya Madhani, which came out on Thursday, revealed that the accused in the Kalamassery bus burning case had contacted Sufiya on her mobile phone immediately before and after the incident.

Further revealing Sufiya’s terror links, evidence have come out disclosing that Abdul Rahim, who was killed during an encounter with the security forces in Jammu & Kashmir, had contacted Sufiya over phone. Abdul Rahim was the fourth accused in the Kalamssery bus burning case.

Evidences show that some accused in the Kalamassery case had called at the mobile phone number 93888 20202 taken in the name of Sufiya Madhani.

The accused used to contact Sufiya prior and after the incident. Abdul Rahim was using a mobile phone with number 93881 53667.

The evidences show that Abdul Rehman used to call up Sufiya very often especially during the time of Kalamassery incident.

There are more evidences showing that the calls were made between the number used by Sufiya Madhani and another number 93885 23425 in the name of Majeed Parambayi of Koothuparamb, fifth accused in the Kalamassery case.

Majeed had called Sufiya several times on the previous day of the incident.

Sources said that it was Sufiya who directed Majeed to go ahead with the bus burning.

Nine minutes after the bus burning incident, Sabir, the second accused in the case, had called Sufiya on her mobile phone. It has been found that Sabir called Sufiya from his number 94477 39872. It is reported that he called up Sufiya to inform her that the incident was done.

BJP leader and candidate in Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency A N Radhakrishnan had earlier come up with evidences showing that the accused in the bus burning incident had been visiting Sufiya Madhani’s house. He said that Omar Farooq of Parappanangadi, Yousuf of Parappanangadi, Mohammedd Fayaz of Kannur and Thajuddin of North Paravoor had stayed in Sufiya Madhani’s residence from September 7 to 9, 2005 just before the bus burning incident which took place on September 9.

More stunning evidence have come out on the alleged terror links of Madhani and Sufiya.

Top sources have revealed a fresh link between the Kalamassery bus burning incident and Thadiyantavide Nazeer alias Umer Haji, mastermind in terror links in the state, who had allegedly undergone terror training at the LeT camps.

“The Kalmassery bus burning was implemented by a gang operating under Nazeer. However, the police failed to charge him as the main accused.

Immediately after the bus burning was executed, a message was given to Sufiya over phone – `What you had said has been done. Tell the person sitting there to leave,” sources said.

Though the local police failed in charging Nazeer as an accused in the Kalamassery case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the terror links in the state, has come across the evidences of his involvement in the incident.
