Minister stops Annadhanam

published on November 16, 2008

The ‘Aanadhabnam’ programme initiated by Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam has been blocked by the Minister Sudhakaran. The decision came without consulting the Devasom board which had given the permission initially to the Samajam to do the ‘annadhanam’ in Sabarimala.

Today the Samajam workers who had gathered to make the arrangements were left with no options due to the order. The atheists who like to play around with the Sabarimala programme had earlier also suddenly announced a blockade of certain roads which are regularly used by Ayyapa devotees to reach Pamba. the non reaction of the Hindus of Kerala has made the atheists even more aggressive in their biased discrimination when it comes to hindu pilgrimage centers.

These biased approach were  not seen a few days back when the the Christians celebrated the ordination of Saint Alphonsa.

When we will react?

Haven’t we had enough?

Simply sitting at homes and temples singing bhajans and doing meditation alone won’t help us in this era. Even the gods have taken up arms when Dharma has been under attack.
