Kozhikode: Pointing out that the language being spoken by Marxists is no less different than the utterances of Muslim League, the state unit of BJP pointed out that both parties stood united in their support regarding Yakub Memon.

Addressing a press conference in Kozhikode, president of BJP’s state unit V Muraleedharan said that “Marxists backing and supporting the anti-national stand of IUML regarding Yakub Memon’s execution echoes the language of Traitor. The stand they have taken is very dangerous and can result in dangerous consequences.”

Pointing out that the Marxist stand of lending support to League’s stand of separatism is nothing new, Muraleedharan said, “The same was the case during the time of the nation’s partition. They harped on their theory that Bharat had 16 Sub-Nstionalities and clamoured for the country’s split into 16 nations. Marxists should change their stand and make necessary amendments.”

Reiterating that the nation’s law stood the same for every citizen and was equally applicable, Muraleedharan said that Muslim League had adopted the strange stand of refusing to comply with laws, when it contradicted their hidden agenda. “If the Marxists want abolition of death penalty they can do so through the Law making in Parliament. But why didn’t they do that when they stood in coalition with UPA l? They must clarify the same.”
